Torneo ” Veterani Foligno ” 5 Novembre 2016
Sabato 5 novembre presso lo stadio di Corvia della Polisportiva Nuova Fulginium si è svolto il torneo “Campioni e Ricordi. Memorial a ricordo degli sportivi folignati” organizzato dalla Pro Foligno e dalla U.N.V.S. sezione Tradardi Foligno diretta da Silvio D’Aurizio.
Hanno partecipato 4 squadre: Ultimi Calci Perugia, Veterani dello Sport Foligno, Amatori C4 di Foligno e noi del Bastia Ultimi Calci.
Una gradevole temperatura ha aiutato i non più giovani atleti nello sforzo fisico che però diventato un ottimo momento di divertimento di quel fine settimana.
Nel primo incontro i Veterani dello Sport Foligno hanno battuto gli Amatori C4 di Foligno per 3-0 mentre noi siamo stati superati dagli Ultimi Calci Perugia per 1-0 a causa di un rigore procurato dal capitano-presidente Luigino Ciotti al secondo minuto.
Nonostante l’impegno la squadra, composta da 15 calciatori che hanno equamente diviso in campo il tempo a disposizione coerenti con la filosofia della società, non sono riusciti a rimontare lo svantaggio.
Successivamente per il 3° e 4° posto il Bastia Ultimi Calci ha superato nettamente, per 3-1, gli avversari degli Amatori C4 di Foligno con 2 reti di Luca Quarta ed 1 di Giulio Morra Moretti.
La finale per il 1° e 2° posto è stata vinta dai Veterani dello Sport Foligno che avevano di fronte gli Ultimi Calci Perugia ma solamente al nono rigore dopo che i tempi regolamentari si erano chiusi sul 2-2.
Un pranzo finale durante il quale sono state fatte le premiazioni ha concluso la bella giornata di calcio e memoria.
I 15 giocatori a disposizione del presidente che ha fatto anche da allenatore, causa assenza per lavoro del trainer Mauro Sciarra sono stati:
Stefano Ceccotti, Massimo Ghelli, Antonello Cimarelli, Stefano Trippetta, Claudio Balani, Mirco Armati, Giulio Morra Moretti, Learco Tamburini, Roberto Cianetti, Giancarlo Betti, Luca Quarta, Renzo Falaschi, Gianluca Gentile, Alberto Fioriti oltre allo stesso Luigino Ciotti.
